That’s It! I’m Goin’ Bowlin’!

Posted in My Projects, Woodturning on Feb 02, 2008

After last weekend’s woodturning seminars and competition I figured that it was time to create some bowls.

After a few false starts (hahaha, yeah right, a few…) I created a couple of small bowls that I was rather proud of… sort of… hey, it’s a start! :)

The bowls in the front are about 3″ in diameter and made from a maple tree that came down in Hurricane Juan and the larger one in the back is about 7″ in diameter and made of cherry.

The two on the outside edges are finished with a Carnauba wax stick, the one the middle is finished with Clapham’s Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish and the cherry one is finished with Tried & True Original Wood Finish.
