Mercer Museum
Built to house Henry Mercer’s extensive collection of objects representing everyday life in the pre-industrial age, the Mercer Museum’s permanent exhibits remain dedicated to this purpose, displaying more than 40,000 tools and artifacts in the Museum’s original core. Over 60 early American trades are represented, including woodworking, metalworking, agriculture, and advertising, plus furnishings and folk art. Located in Doylestown, PA.
Keith Holt
Keith is a member of the American Association of Woodturning (AAW), Baltimore Area Turners, and the First State Turners. His work is being displayed in Havre de Grace Maryland at the Riverview Gallery and has a piece traveling the country in a juried show, “Turned for Use II,” sponsored by the AAW. He is known by other turners for unique forms such as his Pouring Vessel. He has published an article in the Woodturning Design Magazine on this form.
Magard Log Building
A Canadian distributor of log building tools for over 30 years, Magard supplies everything from auger bits to tenon cutters and everything in between, including axes, drawknives, chainsaw accessories and more.
Old Ways Traditions
Our annual events include Wood Days, held on the first weekend of June and Old Ways Days held the third weekend of October. The many elements of the events - great food, old time and traditional music, demonstrations of a large variety of woodworking skills, hands on woodworking for kids and adults, and antique tools and machinery for all to try and/or see operating have proven to be a fine fit in their new location.
