Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts
Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts is a nationally renowned center of contemporary arts and crafts education. Workshops are offered for one and two weeks in the spring and summer, and one-week and weekends in the fall. Areas of study include: ceramics, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, drawing, photography, warm glass, woodturning, woodworking, sculpture, and book and paper arts.

As Craftsmen we believe that it is our obligation to continue to learn, refine, and develop skills, and at Inside Passage we consider it a privilege to share this goal and our knowledge with others. The Windsor Institute
The Windsor Institute was founded by the internationally renowned chair maker Mike Dunbar and his wife Sue. It is the only school in the world dedicated to teaching Windsor Chair-making. (New Hampshire, United States)
Shaler Oval Boxes By John Wilson
Over the past twenty years individuals who make Shaker oval boxes have come to know John Wilson as the suppliers to that trade. In fact, the business of the shop and the teaching workshops have been instrumental in the revival of that traditional craft enjoyed by so many today. Teaching oval box making continues to be important and we offer a wide range of woodworking courses that will be of interest to you.
Conover Workshops
Founded in 1980 by the Conover family, our mission is to teach technically correct, proper and safe woodworking, weaving and spinning. Our standards of teaching are the highest, and all our instructors are acknowledged leaders in their fields. Year-round programs provide a relaxing atmosphere and we boast graduates from every state in the Union, all the provinces of Canada and a good many foreign countries. (United States)

The Port Townsend School of Woodworking
Founded by Jim Tolpin, John Marckworth and Tim Lawson, the school offers courses on cabinet making, furniture making, historic preservation and traditional woodcrafts. Our goal in creating this school is to bring high-quality education in woodworking to the Olympic Peninsula. We want to provide a real benefit to the local community as well as to visitors drawn to our area for it's reputation as a center of fine arts and tradecrafts. Our school offers accelerated courses with an intensive hands-on learning experience. These courses focus on the finest woodworking techniques, taught by award-winning instructors, in a fun and friendly environment. Our instructors are professional woodworkers who teach from practical experience rather than theory. We have a new facility, equipment and courses featuring an incredible list of instructors! Peters Valley was established as a craft education center in 1970, providing education in blacksmithing, weaving, surface design, woodworking, photography and fine metals. Now in its 38th year, Peters Valley has been welcoming students of all ages and walks of life to its facility and has provided a place for the beginner to learn a craft, as well as providing craft artists with a place to learn new techniques and enhance their skills.
